While most of the area restaurants are located in nearby Long Beach, Far Rockaway and the five towns, Atlantic Beach has a mix of fine dining, casual, take-out and delivery restaurants. The closest supermarket is the Key Foods on the border of East Atlantic Beach and Long Beach.

Kosher

Many can be found in the five towns, just across the Atlantic Beach bridge.  A large cluster are on Central Avenue in Cedarhurst and Woodmere, on the main Central Avenue strip. The New Nautilus Hotel does serve kosher food certified by South Shore VAAD – however the restaurant is only open to residents of the senior facility. Some of the private beach clubs such as Sunny Atlantic do have kosher food options.
